ASOG Community,
If you didn't know, our association has an article of the month project. The project is designed to allow the ASOG community to share best practices, trending technologies, or informative professional experiences.
To make this initiative even better, we'd love to see more members contribute. Writing just one article (or two) can make a big difference! If you're interested, let the ASOG Desk Editor (deskeditor@aso-group.org ) know, and he'll help you publish your article on the ASOG webpage (plus share it across our social media platforms).
To give you an idea of what to write about, here are a few of the previous articles posted and shared by people like you:
- Wing Tips – My Hypoxic Event (Darren Daigle)
- My Does & Don'ts as a Veteran ASO (Derrick Brydges)
- The Future of Flight (Sam Barnes)
- Aviation English: Why it's Important for Airborne Sensor Operators to Speak English (Bernhard Eckhardt)
- Don't Stress and Never Stop Applying (Darryl Woodruff)
- What is a Situational Awareness System? (Andrea Masini)
- Does free ASO training and flying experience sound intriguing? (Darrin Guilbeau)
So, if you can chat in the hangar and share your experiences, you have what it takes to write them down! Your unique professional insights and stories would be great to read. Who knows, the next time you're at a party, you could tell people you're not just an ASO but also an author!
