Do you favor a standardized civil international or national certification for Airborne Sensor Operators (ASO)?

Yes, an international certification should allow ASOs to operate in any part of the world safely and effectively. Yes, a national FAA/CAA certification showing familiarity with national laws and practices. No, but FAA, CAA or other organizations should standardize on the “practical” knowledge and qualifications. No, ASOs should not be required to hold a license or be certified. Other (If Other – Why?)

There is an advantage to less regulation in this line of work, especially on deployed downrange military or government work.
