On June 12th, 2025, the Airborne Sensor Operators Group (ASOG) community touched down in the heart of Vienna, Austria, for another energizing ASOG Networking Meet-Up and this one was extra special.
Held in a lively local beer garden under sun-splashed skies, the gathering brought together ASOG members, industry peers, and supporters from across Europe and beyond. Set among clinking mugs and steady conversation, the event proved that networking doesn’t have to happen in a conference hall to be powerful.
From first-timers to long-standing members, the conversations circled around:
- ✈️ Current multi-mission projects and technology integrations
- 🤝 Career opportunities and cross-border collaborations
- 🛠️ Industry challenges and field innovations
- 🍻 And yes—plenty of laughter over Austria’s finest brews and food
At the center of it all was the ASOG spirit: informal, inclusive, and deeply mission-focused.
Special thanks to the Vienna chapter members and volunteers who helped coordinate the evening, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and connected. These casual gatherings are where introductions become opportunities and shared stories evolve into community.
