Every year I put out a request to find out about aerial remote-sensing events (training courses, trade shows, conferences etc….commercial/GIS, public safety, defense...manned & unmanned platforms) that members are attending or an excellent event that ASOs could benefit from, i.e., for networking and professional development. Based on feedback from many members over the last few years, this initiative has been beneficial.
However, with the current global pandemic situation, many events have either canceled, rescheduled, or have changed to a virtual event. With that, I would like to find out what events are still planned to take place and when/where.
Once I get everyone’s feedback, I’ll start populating the Events area of the ASOG webpage. If you plan to attend one of these events, just click the “Going” button on that specific event, and I’ll let others know.
