  • Hi Thomas,

Your question was sent over to the ASOG Linked-In profile. See below the feedback we got. It looks like a good book for those interested in the TFO position:

"Clay Lacey   Kevin is highly recognized as one of the best in the business. The book is good. His ALEA Conference courses are even better.

HJ B   We as an ASU invited Kevin twice to do his ALEA Conference course in house. That is the real stuff that makes the difference in catching the bad guys or not. Course is great for Pilot and TFO. I recommend this to everyone in the ALE business  over here in Europe! Together with Jack Schonely’s Course about Apprehending fleeing suspects and Perimeter Containent it is a must in basic training for all of our TFOs.

HJ B   Great book! We provide each of our TFOs with it. I personally highly recommend it.

HJ B  Hi Patrick. PAvCon will be held in Poland on 2018. I am attending it for sure! We invited Kevin Means twice over to out ASU to give his three day Tactical Flying course. Try also Jack Schonely his book “Appredending fleeing suspects and Perimeter Containment”. We issue every TFO also with this book. Hope to see you in Poland."

    Thanks Thomas!

  • Good question. I haven't read this book...but, I've seen the cover via the Airborne Law Enforcement Association webpage...that might mean something regarding its information...plus, this made me think (in the future) we can add an "ASOG Reading List" tab...break up into the different industry sectors...like the Link-Library...what do you think? Thanks Thomas!
