As the electromagnetic battlespace continues to evolve, access to timely and usable SIGINT has become a critical operational requirement.
VORANE is an airborne SIGINT as a Service concept developed by Air Attack Technologies, designed to provide rapid, flexible and scalable ELINT and COMINT capabilities without the need for heavy acquisition programs or long integration timelines.
The approach is based on a modular architecture built around mission pods, enabling plug-and-play integration on various aircraft platforms, with a current baseline on King Air.
VORANE is designed to address two key operational needs:
- Supporting countries without existing airborne SIGINT capabilities by delivering either raw data or processed intelligence
- Bridging the gap for nations awaiting delivery of their own platforms, while enabling early database build-up and operator familiarization
The concept focuses on delivering actionable intelligence, while maintaining a high level of adaptability to mission requirements and operational environments.
Developed in close cooperation with Airborne Technologies and SERPIKOM, « VORANE » leverages proven sensor technologies and operational expertise to ensure relevance and effectiveness in real-world scenarios.
